Frederick Hustlers

The Hustlers took a 6-1 lead into the top of the 7^th only to find themselves tied 6-6 going into the bottom of the inning.  Joey Schwartz (Smithsburg) led off with a bloop single to right center, Vaughn Parker (Thomas Johnson) moved Schwartz over, and after a strikeout, Evan Pettyjohn (Boonsboro) delivered the game winner – a two out, line drive, walk-off single to left.  Pettyjohn, Vaughn Parker (Thomas Johnson) and Jack Duffy (Urbana) each had two hits; one of Duffy's was a double.  Matt Orr contributed a huge 2-RBI triple in the 4th.  Spencer Griffin (St John's Catholic Prep) pitched 4 2/3 innings and only allowed one run on four hits before running out of gas.  Taylor Itnyre worked the final two outs of the 7th and picked up the win.
